Thank you for taking the time out to go through our shipping policy which governs the shipments of orders from BIKE PLACE PTY LTD.
All items must be signed for, we will only ship to addresses where you can sign for delivery.
Once you place the order on our website, it can take 2-3 days to process your order before shipping from our Retail store in Western Australia. You are required to provide an accurate delivery address for us to send the parcel safely. If the shipment isn’t received due to your unavailability at the delivery address, you are advised to inform us at via email at the earliest.
It can take up to 14 days to deliver your order, especially if it is a rural location. For the majority of urban centers, it takes under 7 days to deliver the shipment. Shipping charges vary based on the goods and we use different methods for shipments. We take no responsibility for any delay on behalf of the third-party delivery partners, public holidays or peak periods. Currently, we only ship within Australia, however, we reserve the right to expand our operations and ship outside Australia as well. We generally do not ship bikes (call to check first - conditions apply like sending to your local bike shop) however, the customers can pick up ready-to-ride bikes from our store in Port Kennedy and on occasion we can drop off bikes around the Perth Metro Area for a fee.
We do no ship dangerous goods, including but not limited to, Butane, aerosols, flammable items, batteries, etc. We never ship eBikes.
It is the customers responsibility to liaise with the courier company using the tracking number we supply in regards to ETA, missed deliveries, booking redeliveries and delivery pick up if a card left etc.
If items are sent back to us because of address issues at the address supplied we are not able to refund postage and reserve the right to take an admin/re stocking fee if you don't want it re shipped.
